Secaucus Transfer Program & Northeast Corridor (NEC) Modifications Project

Description: The NEC project is a public/private joint venture rail transportation project undertaken to allow construction of a major rail transfer station along the Northeast Corridor at its intersection with NJ Transit’s Main and Bergen County rail lines in Secaucus. The expanded NEC alignment included approximately 19,000 lf of new tracks. The project successfully opened and received the “Best Transit Project of the Year” Award from the New York Construction News.
